Peace: Writing a Common Heart was an international dream of a community of authors in Colombia and one from the United States, who wrote, met, revised, designed, and imagined the book and board game together. Thank you to Gabrielle Kelenyi for the subtitles!
Nuestro Proceso
Our Process
Para llevar a cabo nuestro proceso nos inventamos unas tertulias-talleres, en la que compartíamos alimentos, historias, vino y música. En medio de ese hermoso compartir fuimos construyendo los objetivos de nuestro proyecto. Las tertulia taller nos permitieron dar forma a ese deseo común de escribir la paz cotidiana y pluralmente. Estuvo un proceso en si de construir la paz.
To carry out our process, we held tutorial-workshops, in which we shared food, stories, wine, and music. In the process of this beautiful sharing, we began to construct the objectives of our project. The tutorial-workshop allowed us to give form to this common desire to write peace in our everyday lives and in a way that was plural and not singular. It was a process in itself of constructing peace.
El Resultado
The Result
En fin, el “resultado” del proyecto no era el kit en si, si no el proceso de corazonar la paz.
In the end, the project’s results were not the kit in and of itself, but instead the process of “hearting” peace.
